Today we were up at the crack of dawn. Had to get on down to Bisbee
to check out our mining claim First I have to wait for Slowpoke Sue to get her duds on.
We roll into Bisbee about 8am.
Our horses are hungry, so we pull into a Circle K to feed them.
We bump into an old timer feeding his horses and ask him where we might rustle up some grub.
He says, follow me and I'll show you the way. He led us to the Bisbee Breakfast Club,
where all the locals hang out. Great grub at a great price.
This must be the town taxi.
On the way to the mine, we check out the strip mining
operation that had been going on in past years.
Now on to the Queen Copper Mine.
We put on our duds and climb onto the train.
This train will take us over 1500ft deep into the mine
Darn it's dark in here, and only 47 degrees !
We leave the train to check out some of the other shafts.
Guess were not going that way.
Now when those miners had to go, they used the honeypot wagon.
And I thought the portapotty was bad.
Back out into the light and the warm sun.
We now head back to Tombstone to straighten things out, and grab some grub for lunch.
Lawman Rowdy Ralph, Slippery Pearl and Slowpoke Sue decide to pose for a photo.
We head out of town and cross over into New Mexico.
Tomorrow we head to El Paso,Texas.
Hope you enjoyed the ride today. See you tomorrow.
