On the way into the park we got to see our first long horn sheep high above us.
They all were doe. The bucks are the ones with the long curly horns. Did you know that when they
challange each other they ram their horns together both traveling at a speed of about 50 mph. The crack of
there horns hitting can be heard for over a mile. ( It gives me a headache to think about it. )
Elk on Mammoth Spring terrace.
This was cool, wish we were quicker to get better pictures.
Yes, its a fox that has insisted this rabbit have breakfast with him.
I guess they were eating at his den.
These geese stopped at Yellow Stone for a pit stop on there way south.
These guys just didn't want us to leave.
Which way do we go ! Which way do we go !
Steam vents around Yellow Stone lake.
The fire of 88 is still quite evident in this area.
Mountain Lake
As we come down out of the park the scenery changes.
Just west of Cody Wyoming.
There are horses everywhere!
We spent about 4 hours in the Buffalo Bill Museum.
I still haven't found that bear, but I'll keep looking.
On towards Keystone South Dakota.
See you then,
Ralph & Prilly
