DAY 6

Hi all,
Today we will leave Jessie's and travel over to Rutland Vermont. But first we need to head
to the park to see if we can wear out the kids a bit.

This long walk ought to tire them out.

Ok that didn't work, how about the playground.
Sue looks like the only won wearing out.

We head back to the house and Miles waves good by,
and we leave with some great memories.

As we head into Vermont we look for covered bridges.
Just this side of Bennington we find the Henry Bridge

Built in 1840 it spans 121 feet across the Walloomsac River and is 18.5 feet wide.

Just to the south of it is the historic Henry House established in 1769.

Just northwest of Bennington is the Paper Mill covered bridge.

Built in 1889 and also spans the Walloomsac River at a 125 feet long.

We then head north to Rutland and as we get higher up in the montains the leaves are turning colors

We notice the houses here are really big.

We try a Quality Inn for a change and it was anything but quailty.
Never again !

Tomorrow we travel to Burlington Vermont.

See you on Day 7 Ralph, Prilly & Sue
