Welcome All, Today we start another adventure, in our quest to discover America.
Glad you could tag along with us as we explore New York & Vermont.
After flying out at 6am this morning we flew into Syracuse at 11am to start a new adventure.
Our first surprise was with Budget Rental, we ask for a Jeep Cherokee and got a jeep Wrangler.
Not a great vehicle for a couple of old geezers who are short legged. We had a jump to get in and then set
up real straight to see over the dashboard.

First we have to drive north about 85 miles to Angel Rock on the Saint Lawrence where we will spend the next 3 days.
in a cabin on the water with my sister Laura and her husband Dave.

We left Florida in 90 degree weather so this cloudy 70 degree weather looks pretty good.

After a couple of hours and stopping for lunch at a country diner we arrive at the cabin.
We really appreciate Laura and Dave extending their hospitality.

This is right on the Saint Lawrence Seaway just a couple of miles from the mouth of Lake Ontario.

The water is so clear and clean.

The temp is about 60 with a gusting10 MPH wind.

The whole inside of the cabin is done in knotty pine as we catch up with them and how they are doing.

After getting up this morning at 3:30am we are glad that this day was coming to an end.

What a great sunset to end our first day.

Tomorrow we will visit some family, enjoy our view and visit Clayton NY.
