DAY 2

Hi all,

First thing ... Happy Birthday! to Laura and Prilly today.

Today we are right at the mouth of the Saint Lawrence, across the water is Canada.

This is the Tibbetts Point Lighthouse, built in 1827, now in the town of Cape Vincent.

We then stopped by to see Richard, David's son and are greeted by his two dogs.
This is Maddie a golden retriever.

This is Bruce his 1 year old Saint bernard.

Richard's place is right on the water and what a great view.

As we go to leave, Richard goes for a walk with his two dogs and his cat named Max.

We follow him down the road a piece and he tells us to wait a bit, he then runs down to the beach
and brings us back some small stones that look like cheerios. He says they are from a place called cheerio
beach on Lake Ontario.

We stop back at the cabin before meeting Richard for lunch. Using my good camera
I zoom across the water to Carlerton Island USA and saw these two silos that have mother inlaws
apartments on the top of them and I am told that they are joined together by a walkway
between them.

Not far away is the main house and barn.

Zooming to the west we see Wolfe Island Canada. With the wind coming off that lake I'll bet their power bills
are next to nothing.

They are spread all over this Island.

Check out the ship traffic going by.

We then drive over to Clayton for lunch at a restaurant on the water and meet back up with Richard.

They have some unique looking structures here.

Checking out the waterfront.

I think it's time for icecream.

We head back to the cabin to end the day.

Tomorrow Kingston Ontario Canada.

See you on Day 3. Ralph , Prilly
