DAY 14

Hi All,

Lots of orange trees here in central California.

Sue wanted to take this exit but we told her we didn't have time.

Lake Kaweah

It's 78 here and look at that snow up there.

Cute woodpecker. Look at all the nuts in the pole.

We landed in Tulare, CA just outside of Sequoia National Park.
Decided to go up Mineral King Rd toward one of the entrances of the park.

That park entrance was closed but the 10 mile drive through the wilderness
was worth it.

Prilly said I was her wild iris rose.

This is an old flume that runs for miles through the mountains.

Looking down stream.

Kaweah River bridge built in 1923.

They're plotting against me again.

Not sure of his name but he's cute.

Wild flowers are everywhere in full bloom.

Spotted this guy peeking at us.

Everywhere you turn.

I got a great shot of this guy.

On the way back down we spot this guy crossing the road.

Pretty vines

Coming back into town we spot these guys having a ball.

Tomorrow, Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park.

See you then.
