Day 11

Howdy All,
Today we head across the heart of Wyoming and land in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Here come the mountains. They are called the Big Horn Wilderness.

Out here live holds on and trees will grow just about anywhere.

The temp drops down to 34 degrees and the wind is 15 - 20 mph.

We cross the top of Powder Pass at 9666 ft high.

This is a nice day up here.

We go through one area where the rock is 3 billion years old.

We spot a window in the rock.

Trying to find some of those mountain sheep but no luck.

Cool tunnel through the mountain.

We pass through a town called Ten Sleep and then read this sign to see how this town got its name.

If you get up high here you can see for miles.

As the sun sets on another beautiful day we pull into Rock Springs.

Tomorrow we head through Flaming Gorge down to Vernal, Utah.

See you on Day 12
