DAY 14 PART TWO

Hi All,

This was such a great day, we had to break it up into two parts.
The ocean views were spectacular.

We head toward a huge cloud that has engulfed this mountain. Underneath, it's like a rain forest.

Just outside of Bandon we come across America's largest petting zoo.

Sue gets the treat of a life time, to play with and pet a white siberian tiger.
Of course, he was only 8 weeks old.

Anyone who knows Sue knows her love for tigers.

Of course I found bigger game to pet.

We have never seen a place that would let you get this close.

That's when we notice that there are no exits to this place. Go figure!

These bighorn sheep were so cute.

This guy was looking for a real handout.

He looks a lot like us after this trip.

Life is so good !

This young lion was a little nervous, but not anywhere as much as me.

Sue finds a little ferret to hold and cuddle with.

This is Polly the possum. She was born cross-eyed and blind, but still loves to be petted.

This cougar is the one we were looking for in Yellowstone; now I am glad I didn't find him.

This tiger took one wiff of me and decided to pass up lunch. Now that's a good thing.

Prilly and Sue sweet-talked this one into letting them pass.

We escape out the back door before they change their minds and drive to Coos Bay for the night.
Not wanting to call it a day we drive out to Cape Arago Lighthouse for the sunset.

We try hiking out to it because we couldn't find public access to it. After getting about 3/4 the way there, we turn back
because of darkness.

Good thing, because as we get back to the car the sun is setting.

What a way to end a perfect day !

Tomorrow on up the Oregon coast, just maybe we will make it to Newport.

See you tomorrow,

Ralph, Prilly & Sue
