DAY 2

Hi all, Today we are heading south to Portage Glacier and Game Preserve.

Wind was really blowing as we traveled down the Seward Highway.

This moose was really photogentic.

Musk oxen a rare find in Alaska.

This grizzly bear was after a varmit under this shed.

This guy wasn't going to get up he was happy right there.

There are bald eagles all over the place.

This porcupine was trying to get his point across.

These young black bears were feeling their oats.

They love to wrestle.

They also know how to climb a tree.

If you get chased by a bear don't climb a tree.
This guy flew up this tree.

Ok it's cold out here, take the picture.

Look how quick these girls are melting the ice.

Our tour boat took us within a couple hundred feet of Portage Glacier.

Here we saw the ice calving the glacier.

These are large chunks that have just broken off.

Well that wraps up the day; see you tomorrow.
