First stop was Wilson Arch
It really is a lot higher to climb up here than it looks from the road.
Prilly made it up here.
This arch is a lot bigger once you are up here.
Yes, I made it, but where is Sue ?
There she is ! We could not get her any higher, it a height thing.
Our next stop is Natural Bridges National Monument.
Before we get there we spot our first wildlife.
They are not very big but they are sure cute.
Natural Bridges National Monument looking down at one of the natural bridges.
These are Anasazi ruins from 1050 to 1300 AD built in the side of the cliffs.
This little guy has quite a tail.
Looking down at another natural bridge.
This one is hard to see.
After we leave the park we head down to Valley of the Gods. In order to get there
we have to drop about 2000 feet in less than a mile. Sue is holding on for dear life.
We make it down into the Valley of the Gods and spot this balancing rock.
It's amazing how little holds it up.
This is a cool stop with all the different shapes.
The 3 Amigoes in the Vally of the Gods.
They should name this one skull rock.
Further down the road we go by the well-known Mexican Hat.
Very little holding this up.
It's getting late in the day so we decide to skip Monument Vally and come back another day.
Just before we roll into Page we spot these wild horses.
We have been blessed with another beautiful day.
We get into Page as the sun goes down and head to the Best Western and then
to the Dam Resturant where they have Dam good food.
