Today we head out to Santa Cruz Island in Channel Islands National Park.
The wind has died down and the sun is shining.

A mile from the island we are greeted by 1000 dolphins.
They are all over the place!
Never have we ever seen so many at one time.
The boat docks
and we disembark to explore.
We pass through a grove of eucalyptus trees. They smell yummy.
We decide to take the Cavern Point trail.
We meet Jan from Nebraska and she decides to tag along with us.
We get her to take our picture.

Then we see this cool desert lizard.
We get back down to water level and spot this window through the rock.
We almost step on this old guy who was resting on the beach.
If you leave your backpacks out these guys will rob you blind.

We tired Sue out with all this sea air.
Tomorrow we head up through the center of the state.
