Well today is the day we are heading back to Phoenix so we can fly home on Monday.
We have traveled just over 3000 miles, through 4 states, and went to 7 National Parks.
We have seen all kinds of weather, and have seen so much beautiful country.
Here, Sue is being told that she is going back to work.
About halfway to Phoenix ,we stopped at a pulloff and
walked back into the woods and found a little lake.
We were up about 7000 feet so, it was only about 60 degrees.
This was such a nice break from driving.
We were looking for wildlife but this is all we could find.
Prilly loved the smell of the pines.
We go by a forest fire on a mountain near us.
Then we see a sign for the dry lake yacht club.
Before we get into Phoenix we see another sign that says Elk Crossing test area.
Are they being tested on how well they can read the signs?
You can tell we are getting close to Phoenix as the landscape changes.
We arrive in Phoenix, and Bruce, Prilly and Sue's brother ,has reserved a room for us at his hotel.
Here, Sue is trying to get all this stuff into 2 suitcases. Good luck !
Our hotel.
Sue is so happy, she got all her stuff in her suitcases and found a little more room,
so she is on the way to the gift shop for some more stuff.
As you can see we are winding down, getting ready to go home.
See you then.
Ralph, Prilly & Sue
P.S. To our Families:
If we forget to make this request, please be sure that the three amigos
are put in the same nursing home. You may have to reintroduce us,
but we'll have fun getting to know each other again!
Anywhere that takes Medicare......
