Day 16 Thurs Aug 7

Hi all,

Today we bring a close to a great adventure. We have been so blessed to be able to
go on a trip like this.

We fly out at 10:10Am this morning.

After we say goodby to Jesse we head to our gate and await that 14 hour flight to LAX.

We leave Sydney behind.

Before long the sun sets.

At LAX we say goodby to Amanda and Sue.

We make it home home about 10PM but our luggage is somewhere between here and LAX

Thanks for tagging along with us and I hope you enjoyed the pictures which were taken by all of us.

Special thanks to Jesse for making this a vacation of a lifetime.

See you next trip !

Love Prilly, Ralph, Sue, Amanda, and Jesse

Special notes:

We traveled just over 25,000 miles by air. That's like once around the world !
About 1000 miles by car and another 200 by boat and train.

We learned what a meat pie was and how to play Australian football.
We also found out that we are the ones driving on the wrong side of the road since
80% of the world drive on the other side.
We learned what a 2 speed toilet was and a whole new system of measurement.
We found out they don't have central heat and air and that their food is very expensive.
They are a fun loving people that truly have no worries. They give way instead of yielding.
Instead of getting take out food it's take away food. You ride the lift and not the elevator.
If you want a coffee you order a long black. They have no trash, just rubbish. If you're looking
for a restroom you better look for a toilet. There is no passing lane, it's called an over taking lane.
New Zealand has alot of onelane bridges. You need to get all ragged up instead of bundled up.
You take snaps with your camera, not pictures. If you're looking for a drug store, it's called a chemist.
You mom is your mummy, your friend is your mate and can be male or female. A male friend is a bloke
and a girl is a sheila. If you need to by beer or wine look for a bottle shop.
The motel don't have wash cloths and if someone tells you to look at that skippe look for a kangaroo.

From all of us down under.... GOOD Day Mate !
