DAY 17

Hi all,
Well, we have slowed down our travels and decided to cut our route short. We are staying here in Moab
and heading to Price in the morning and then back to Salt Lake on Monday. It's been a great trip and has been
nice not pushing so hard to cover so much ground.

Today we are roaming the west on horseback.

Prilly is riding Chikato. This means hard white clay in Navaho.

I am riding Buzz as in light years.

And here comes Sue on Harley. She said she always wanted to ride a Harley.

Prilly is now in her realm.

This is a rocky up and down trail.

Since Sue's horse did not get along with the other horses
she had to bring up the rear and eat all of our dust.

All they gave me to shoot with was this camera.

We spot a collared lizard on a rock.

The weather was 72 and sunny, who could ask for more.

Sue test driving her Harley.

The Colorado River cutting through the mountains.

I found me a real cowgirl ! Tess was our guide today.

Heading up stream and back to the barn.

After our horseback ride we decided to do the 128 scenic loop around Moab.

We run into a cow road block.

Then we spot snow on the mountains ahead.

We wrap up the day as we look down at Arches National Park.

See you on Day 18 Ralph, Prilly & Sue
