DAY 12

Hi all,
Today was a change of plans day.
Prilly got sick and had to go to a clinic to get a prescription
so we never got started till 2pm. We then decided to go to Black Dragon Canyon
and Fossil Valley, home of the dinosaur bones.

Here is Sue looking all over for Prilly after her launch.

There she is, she looks bushed.

A lot of cool rock formation.

Without people in the picture it's hard to see the size of this place.

There are all kinds of rock formations in here.

The canyon is about a mile long.

Sue just can't get a big enough bag to put her rocks in.

We spot more petroglyphs about a 1000 years old.

The walls in the canyon are 600 feet high in places.

Now Sue wants to take this rock home.

This is our only wildlife picture today. But he's cute.

We did see this hawk also.

After traveling 13 miles back into the boonies,
we find real dinosaur bones in this rock.

Just think how old these bones are.

Sue finds a beauty, but she has to put it down because you are not
allowed to take them.

God blessed us with another beautiful day.

See you on Day 13 Ralph, Prilly & Sue
