DAY 14

Hi All,

Today we went to Black Canyon National Park.

Black Canyon is the narrowest and deepest canyon in the world.

It is estimated that it is over a billion years old.

More wildflowers.

This should be the pic of the year.
You try to get five of these little critters in a lineup.

The river below drops over 480 feet in one two mile stretch

This is a grin of fear.

The sister act.

On the edge of love.

Sue hanging on for dear life.

The canyon is about 15 miles long.

More wildflowers.

Prilly, way to close to the edge.

Mineral lines are very easy to see.

Two buttes.

Sometimes you just have to tell them, where to go.

That's a lot farther down than it looks.

It's 2700 feet to the floor from here.

More of God's art work.

This is one way to get out of the canyon.

Butterfly.

We drive down to the river in the bottom of the canyon,
and Sue gets stuck between a rock and a hard place.

A nice hike next to the river.

We spot a robin, must be spring.

Time to head for home. Now if I can only keep the girls out of the gift shop.

Tomorrow we head for Utah.
See you then.
