DAY 11

Hi All,
Today we traveled the Oregon Trail. We were blessed with beautiful weather.

We knew Idaho raised potatoes, now we find out Oregon raises onions.
As soon as we crossed the state line, we find onions all over the road that had fallen off a truck.
Soon we are passing field after field of onions.

Million of onions.

We pick up a free sample off the road.

Everyone wants to see the animals so we decide to see how many different kinds we could find.

This is Sue's new house after this vacation. Hey it's on the water and has electric.

We will be just down the street in this one.

We spot this hawk hunting in a field.

Oregon Trail.

Some cool guys we met along the way.

We thought about stopping here for church but did not know if we could tow the line.

Onions are not the only thing that Oregon grows, check out the sunflowers.

Now is this a shoemack tree?

This is central Oregon.

Finally some real wildlife, pronghorn deer.

Still pumping water.

At the end of the day we stop at the Black Bear dinner and Sue orders a piece
of chocolate cream pie. I think she got the whole pie.

Tomorrow we head to Crater Lake National Park.

See you then.
