We are finally seeing some wildlife. These wild turkeys must weigh at least 30 pounds or more.
Is this not Montana ?
Sue says, "And they're off ..."
I am in hot pursuit of these guys.
Do you they think they can outrun me before Thanksgiving?
Western woodpecker.
Entering Glacier National Park
If this scene is not great enought, God blessed us with a bald eagle flying into it, as I took the picture.
Closeup of the eagle.
Deep in the dark forest a couple of bumps on a log.
The scenery is breathtaking or is it the altitude.
On the way upto John's Lake I rest, so the girls can catch up.
Prilly like this tree. She said that it reminded her of me.
After a mile hike we get to John's Lake
Lake McDonald
Sure glad I'm not up there.
Are we blessed or what.
We took this 40 mile dirt road through the park in hope to get some great pictures
of wild life, but all we saw was a black cow and a three legged dog.
We left the park and at least saw some deer.
Tomorrow we head to Yellowstone.
See you then !
