DAY 3

Welcome All,

Today we got up to 60 degree weather with a little breeze. No doubt it's time to go riding. So we head out to Jesse James Riding stables.

They look ready to go.

We meet James and ask him where Jesse is. He tells us he took the day off, but the good news
is there is no one else in our group.

Away we go on todays adventure.

Ya got to just love Delaneys glasses.

Jenna on Belle.

Delaney on Beulah.

Prilly on Joplin.

Grampa on Lightning. They put my horse in the back so he didn't run away from the others.

It was 2.5 hours of a great ride. Over hill and dale and through the woods.
This was one great ride.

We stop for a root beer float and then head to Mammoth Cave National Park home of the largest cave
in the world with over 400 miles of mapped cave.

On the way in we spot a lot of wild turkeys.

Oh dear.

We decide to take the historical tour and head into the cave.

When you walk into this cave you can not believe how big it is. For the first half mile you
could put a four lane highway in it.

Further in, there are places that drop down as far as you can see.

It will close down and then open back up wide again.

We see a couple of bats fly by.

The problem is there is not enough light to take a good picture
to show how immense this place is.

After 2hours and walking just over 2 miles going up over 400 steps we emerge unscathed.

Jenna finds a friend.

Oh no look what just came out of the cave.

Looks like we need to look for two new Amigos.

The end of another great day.

See you on Day 4
