Day 4 Sun July 26

Hi all,
Today the sun is shining, and we are grabbing breakfast on the beach.
Excuse the way we look, we have not had our coffee yet.

The temp is around 50 so hot coffee sounds real good right now.

We find a table inside by a heater, and the food is delicious.

After we eat we head down to Coogee Beach.

Sue went down to wash her hands and got her legs and feet washed also.

It's warming up already and looks like we are in for a great day.

Is that Jesse in a speedo?

We head to the train station to catch a train into the mountains.

One thing about a big city is the mass transit is great.

First stop is Featherdall Preserve where we get up close and personal with Australia's animals.
Jesse says that these white cocktoos he sees on his back porch all the time.

Prilly gets to pet her first Kangaroo.

This is a Laughing Kookaburra, they make sounds like a monkey.

China Pheasant

Australian Shelduck

Southern Cassowary

We see our first Koala Bear.

These guys look like moving teddy bears.

You just want to pick these guys up and hug them.

They are so soft.

Jesse found someone to lie out with and work on their tan.

Wombat

Masked Owls

Tasmanian Devil

Bridal Peacock

These guys are running all over this place.

We don't know what this one is called.

Laughing Kookaburra, he likes to wake Jesse up in the morning.

Dingo pups.

Check out this Crock.

Now can you beleive that the day is only half over. We jump back on the train and head
up to the Blue Mountains. Prilly and Sue try to catch some Zs and flies.

Because this day has so much we need to goto page two.
