DAY 3

Hi all,

Today we are doing a big circle which will include Kingston Ontario Canada. Yes we have our passports
and are ready to get this show running.

First we drive to Cape Vincent and board a ferry to Wolfe Island Canada. This morning it is a rainy
cold day but we are hoping that it will clear up before long. We are one of two vehicles aboard this ferry.

We decide to get upclose and personal with one of many of these wind turbos that dot this whole island.

To give you some idea how big these things are this base is about 20 feet in diameter.

Looking up at the base makes you realize just how big these things are.

After a stop at the Wolfe Island Bakery for donuts and coffee we get in line for the ferry which is
about 30 cars long. Good thing this is a big ferry. This will take us over to Kingston Ontario.
Oh look here it comes now.

We board the ferry and are packed in like sardines in a can. If you notice we brought the whole bakery
truck with us.

We roll off the ferry right into Kingston and there is city hall and in front of it is the farmers market.

The market is kind of a bust today because of the rain.
Wait, is that an A&W across the street? They have indoor seating. How about a root beer float and let this rain dry up a bit.

Ok it's still raining, now what ? Hey look, free tours of the city hall. As long as its inside lets go for it.

Go figure. We are the only ones looking for a tour. After the three tour guides fight over who was going to show us around
we get under way. As I remember it, this is the room they have all the parties and weddings in. Sounds like one stop shopping
to me. You get the license, go to this room for the wedding, and then all have a party. On the way out if you are still not happy
you stop for a divorce.

Each of these stain glass windows tells a story. Ok, I can't remember what the story was on this guy so I will just make it up
This was a guy who was in a war and came home to find out his wife was cheating on him.

Ok this was an old lady who was waiting for that guy to come home from the war so she could confront him about.
that secret girl friend he had.

Ok this must be the ball room.

That ball has over 100 lights in it..

This must be the stairway to heaven, because it says do not enter.

Ok look it stopped raining out so lets split and get some lunch.
Lets try that place over there with the big steeple on it.

Ok come on, what are they doing, asking each other for directions?

After we grab some lunch we head for the Thousand Island Bridge.
On the way out of Kingston we spot a cool looking building.

Here comes the bridge, back to the good old USA.

We just get back to the USA and Dave tells us about a ice cream store named Gals. He tells us what ever you do
order a small cone. We get there and they are about to close but we are in the nick of time. It was meant to be
The small cone was three big scoops, at least a pint of ice cream.

Then we stop at the dock in Clayton to see the Victory Cruse Lines ship at dock. This ship goes all over the
great lakes and out to the Atlantic coast

We head back to the cabin for the night and find this rainbow, what a blessed day.

Hey there goes the Victory heading to Detroit.

Look at that sunset.

What a end to a great day.

Tomorrow we check out of here and head to Horseheads, NY.

See you on Day 4. Ralph , Prilly
