Moosehead Lake Maine
We head North for 2.5 hours to Greenville, Maine, where we have a cabin for the next 4 days on Moosehead Lake.
It's such great weather we take our time enjoying the beautiful leaves.
Prilly and Sue look really excited.
I just can't wait to see a moose.
Thats not a moose!
Pulling into the cozy town of Greenville. Now all we have to do is find our cabin.
Prilly seems very happy with our cabin.
Our neighbor has a plane, maybe he will give us a ride.
Moosehead lake is the biggest lake in Maine, with over 200 miles of coast line..
It got it's name because all of the mooose that live around it.
We then find out that moose season started the day before.
It ended up that the only moose we saw were belly up.
All the moose,deer, and elk have all headed for the hills.
The only thing we saw was these brave geese.
We had a good time in the cabin and checking out all the restaurants in town
and before we knew it it was time to head for home.
